Sometimes we have to live out our lives on the set path that we’ve been born onto. No one gets to choose where they come from or what they have, and for many children who are born in impoverished, desperate communities this is more of a problem than we think. Founded on March 23rd, 2013 by a student at the Dwight School, SeiMi Chu, Miracle Student Association’s (MSA) mission is to bring miracles to people’s lives, both abroad and closer to home. MSA was created to help New York City homeless and people living in Burkina Faso on what they don’t have: access to clean drinking water. An essential for simply living life, clean water is totally unavailable to these people. MSA is partnered with Walk4Wells to help raise awareness in order to provide the a community in Burkina Faso with the clean water they need. We don’t just plan on focusing on helping Burkina Faso, but MSA also aims to help homeless people in New York City by partnering with Covenant House and City Harvest. Our ultimate goal is to help bring miracles to peoples’ lives.
